EMMANUELLE ESCANDAR, CEO (she, her)

Emmanuelle is the founder and CEO of Escandar Group Events. She loves taking your ideas, adding a little spice, and turning them into reality. Emmanuelle has been doing a wide range of events for over 12 years. Emmanuelle received her BA from Seattle University and her MBA from Loyola University Chicago with her focus on marketing, management and entrepreneurship. Originally from Seattle, Emmanuelle resides in Chicago allowing her to plan events easily in both cities. She also has the pleasure of doing events coast-to-coast following her clients wherever they need her and her team.

Along with her experience and business background, Emmanuelle understands that timing, budgets and financial goals, branding, coordination, and client, guest and vendor relationships are critical to the success of an event. Emmanuelle truly enjoys bringing her clients’ visions to life through creative coordination and innovative event design… while also meeting financial goals! Even, when other responsibilities took Emmanuelle away from the events scene, she always found her way back. Now she wants to share her skills, knack with design and creativity with you!

JESSICA CHILDRESS, COO (she, her)

Jessica is the COO of Escandar Group Events. Jessica has over 10 years of experience and has worked in various aspects of the event industry, spanning across the public, private, non-profit sectors and tech industries. Jessica’s gifts of organization, attention to detail, and creative imagination have earned her a reputation for unparalleled excellence as an event planner. Her specialty is execution, and she always maintains a calm and helpful demeanor to ensure an amazing experience for your and your guests. Prior to joining Escandar Group Events, Jessica was an Event and Venue Manager at Greenhouse Loft, a wedding venue in Logan Square. She was also an event manager for event production firms across the city, and coordinated events and operations at 1871, Chicago’s tech entrepreneurial hub. An artist at heart, Jessica studied Contemporary, Urban and Popular Music at Columbia College Chicago, where she also focused her studies in Entrepreneurship, Vocal Performance, and Creative Writing. She is a proud bookworm and live music junkie. While she will always have her hometown of Detroit in her heart, she loves exploring Chicago and still being a tourist in the city she now calls home.
